Arizona K9 For Warriors empowers disabled individuals to live with greater independence, confidence, and dignity through the life-changing partnership of a trained service dog.

We remove financial barriers by helping to fund the purchase, professional training, and placement of service dogs for qualified individuals. Our funding is made possible through grants, private donations, and community fundraising efforts.

Our work goes beyond financial support. We carefully vet each applicant, evaluate the individual’s specific disability-related needs, and select and assess dogs suited for service work. We then thoughtfully match the client, dog, and professional trainer to ensure the strongest possible partnership.

From the first application through the completion of service dog training, we walk alongside our clients—providing guidance, advocacy, and ongoing support every step of the way.

Our commitment does not end at graduation. Through our Alumni Program, we continue to support our service dog teams to promote long-term success, stability, and quality of life.

The Path to Partnership – Client

Our client journey is a comprehensive process designed to ensure the success of every team.

1.     Submit Your Application: The first step is to complete and submit the Client Application and Medical Verification forms.

2.     Review & Approval: Our team carefully reviews your application to determine eligibility.

3.     The Matching Process: Once approved, you are placed on our waitlist while we work to find the perfect canine partner for your specific needs.

4.     Trainer Matching: Arizona K9 for Warriors will match you with a qualified trainer that specializes in training to your disability.  You and your dog will undergo an intensive, individualized training program to learn how to work together as a seamless team.

5.     A Lifelong Partnership: After completion of the training, you become part of the ARIZONA K9 FOR WARRIORS family, with access to lifetime support and opportunities to refresh your training through participation in the Alumni program to keep your team's skills sharp.

6.   Program Costs and Fundraising: We are funded by generous donations and grants, but clients are also responsible for a portion of the cost. We provide guidance and support to help you fundraise for this life-changing investment.
